DODOMA, July 1 -- THE Peoples Liberation Party (CHAUMMA) has officially kicked off its nomination process for parliamentary and councilor positions ahead of the upcoming General Election, while the presidential candidacy remains on hold for now.

Speaking today in Dar es Salaam, CHAUMMAs Secretary General, Salum Mwalimu, announced today, July 1, 2025, as the party opens its doors to all eligible members and interested citizens wishing to contest for parliamentary or councilor positions under the partys banner.
