DODOMA, Sept. 17 -- CEMEX Ventures Limited is set to invest over 100bn/- in constructing a modern factory that will produce sunflower cooking oil and other products.
The factory is equally set to produce bathing and laundry soaps, powdered soaps, glycerine, cosmetics raw materials, and animal feed by-products.
Speaking here during a visit by the Dodoma Regional Commissioner to the site, Frank Goyai, the factorys General Manager located in the Kizota Industrial Area in Dodoma, announced that the investment could exceed 100bn/-.
He mentioned that Cemex Ventures Limited, a Tanzanian company fully owned by Mac Group, was established in 2023 after acquiring the long-dormant Pyxus factory.
