Dar es Salaam, Feb. 3 -- DODOMA: THE ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) will tomorrow celebrate its 48th anniversary with a special event that will introduce its presidential flag bearers to party members.

Recently, the partys Extraordinary Meeting in Dodoma unanimously endorsed President Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan and Dr Hussein Mwinyi as its presidential candidates for the Union Government and Zanzibar respectively, in the upcoming October General Election.

The meeting also endorsed Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi as Dr Samias running mate. The resolution to endorse President Samia and Dr Mwinyi was backed by over 1,900 members who attended the Extraordinary Meeting in the capital city.
