ARUSHA, June 26 -- CHAMA Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Secretary General, Ambassador Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, has reiterated the partys commitment to upholding peace and stability, stressing that CCM has consistently prioritised opinions of Tanzanians in preserving national unity.

Dr Nchimbi made the remarks on Tuesday in Arusha during the launch of the Arusha Region Womens Journey Forum, where he underscored the importance of inclusive dialogue in safeguarding peace.

He said the ruling party remains open to engaging various stakeholders, including religious and traditional leaders, to ensure peace and cohesion are sustained across the country.
