DODOMA, May 31 -- THE ruling party – Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has committed to enhancing sports infrastructure as Tanzania gears up to host the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2025 and the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2027.

This initiative was highlighted in CCMs 2025–2030 manifesto, presented during an Extraordinary General Congress in Dodoma.

The Chairperson of the Manifesto Committee, Kitila Mkumbo, underlined the partys dedication to promoting national culture, arts and sports by constructing modern stadiums that meet international standards, including structures for AFCON City in Arusha.
