Dar es Salaam, Feb. 8 -- ZANZIBAR: CHAMA Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Elders Council in Zanzibar has echoed the national party chairperson, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassans call for youths to register for voting in this years general election.
Speaking during a press conference, the councils Vice Chairman, Mr Waziri Mbwana Ali said young people are encouraged to register for voting so that they can take part in electing countrys leaders.
“Through the media, we urge young people to get motivated and seize the opportunity presented by the second phase of the voter registration exercise to secure their right to vote in the upcoming elections,” he said.
