LONGIDO, Sept. 13 -- CCM has pledged to significantly increase investment in the tourism and livestock sectors if it wins the General Election, aiming to maximise benefits for citizens and accelerate national development.

CCM presidential running mate, Ambassador Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, made the pledge yesterday while addressing campaign rallies in Longido and later Arumeru, Arusha Region.

He said the Sixth Phase Government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan has already laid strong foundations, delivering visible results and the next stage is to accelerate progress.
