DODOMA, Jan. 9 -- The Controller and Auditor General (CAG), Charles Kicheere, has commended the Tanzania Rural and Urban Roads Agency (TARURA) for the significant work it has been doing in building the countrys road infrastructure since its establishment.

The CAG made the statement earlier when he visited and held a meeting with the Agencys Management on Friday in Dodoma region noting that although the agency is a young institution, its achievements are clearly visible through the construction of numerous roads and bridges that have facilitated citizens access to social and economic services.

“TARURA doesnt have a long time since established but the results of its work are evident, he said.
