DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 13 -- THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that its position remains unchanged regarding the countries that will host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2027), with Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda continuing as the hosts of the continents premier football tournament.
Speaking to media outlets today, February 13 in Dar es Salaam during a CAF Executive Committee meeting, CAF President Patrice Motsepe stated that despite rumors circulating—particularly online—claiming that these countries are not ready to host the tournament, he remains confident that AFCON 2027 will be one of the most successful editions in the competitions history.
