MOROCCO, Nov. 20 -- THE Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decorated the Tanzanian President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, in recognition of her significant contribution to the development of sports, particularly football in the country.

The award was received on behalf of President Samia by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports who is also the Government Spokesperson—Gerson Msigwa, during a ceremony held in Rabat, Morocco.

The event was also attended by the President of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) and CAF Executive Committee Member, Wallace Karia, as well as the Chairman of African Clubs and President of Young Africans, Eng. Hersi Said.
