DODOMA, Nov. 7 -- BUSINESSES and transport services have resumed in the capital city, Dodoma, following directives issued by President Samia Suluhu Hassan during her swearing-in ceremony on Monday.

A spot check by the Daily News at Nzuguni, Sabasaba, Majengo, Machinga and Chamwino markets revealed a lively return to economic activity, with lorries unloading goods and vendors setting up their stalls in preparation for customers.

Intercity and upcountry buses were also back on the roads, while fuel stations reopened and resumed normal services.
