Dar es Salaam, March 18 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Parliamentary Standing Committee for Social Welfare and Development has advised the government to fast track construction of houses for social welfare officers whose construction is 35 percent complete today.

The committee also urges the government to enhance the construction of centres for orphans and vulnerable children.

The committee believes sorting out the housing and orphanage centres issues will enable them to get a good upbringing and parental care.
