DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 18 -- EXPERTS from the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) have visited the Bank of Tanzania (BoT) to learn how BoT develops and operates IT systems using in-house experts.

 The visit took place from 10 to 14 November 2025 at the Banks offices in Dar es Salaam.

During the visit, the experts were given an overview of how BoT develops and operates its systems, quality assurance procedures, as well as measures taken to ensure the security of the systems.

On July 30, 2025, speaking at the iCBS launch event, Retired Vice President, Dr. Philip Mpango, cited the Bank of Tanzania as a role model in the way it uses its in-house experts in implementing various projects, which helps ensure timely completion and quality.
