DODOMA, June 7 -- THE Bank of Tanzania ( BoT) has launched two systems designed to improve financial services across the country and address the challenges faced by service users.

The systems are Financial Complaints Management System (known as ‘Sema na BoT) and Bank of Tanzania Fintech Regulatory Sandbox.

During the launch of the systems in Dodoma on Thursday, Minister for Finance Dr Mwigulu Nchemba said that the systems will significantly contribute to the growth and effective management of the financial sector and enhance the quality and expansion of financial services.

He added that they will also facilitate timely access to more affordable services and increase the number of users of formal financial services.
