DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 6 -- THE Bank of Tanzania (BoT) has announced a public auction of vehicles, motorcycles, forklifts and assorted office assets to be conducted across eight regions later this month, as part of the central banks asset disposal programme.

In a public notice issued on February 6, 2026, BoT said the auction will be conducted through open bidding at its offices and designated premises in Dodoma, Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha, Mbeya, Mtwara and Zanzibar (Unguja).

The items to be auctioned include office furniture, office equipment, safety gear and other assorted assets, alongside a fleet of vehicles comprising Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Coaster, Toyota RAV4, Toyota Hiace, Suzuki Jimny, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Nissan Civilian ...
