DODOMA, Dec. 31 -- THE World Bank (WB) funded Boosting Student Learning Outcomes (BOOST) programme has released a total of 299.2m/- for the construction of a new one-stream primary school at Nzuguni A ward in Dodoma.

Dodoma City Council Director Dr Frederick Sagamiko revealed this in the capital city recently when he inspected the progress of the project.

He directed the local authorities to closely supervise the project as he insisted that construction should be completed timely.

Dr Sagamiko directed the projects supervisor to double the number of artisans and labourers to speed up implementation. He also advised that all procurement of materials, including desks, be advertised early through the NeST system to avoid delays.
