Dar es Salaam, April 17 -- MARA: North Mara Gold Mine has teamed up with some of its contractors to donate items and cash towards helping Musoma residents who were recently rendered homeless following the destruction of their houses by rains

The mine on Thursday donated 45.2m/- , 200 bags of cement and 20 mattresses to the Mara Regional Commissioner Col Evans Mtambi as assistance to the affectef people.

The assistance comes after a few days in support of President Samia Suluhu Hassan who donated 100m/- to meet the humanitarian needs of the Musoma municipality dwellers whose houses were damaged by the midnight rains early this month.
