Dar es Salaam, Feb. 25 -- DAR ES SALAAM – Azam disrupted Simbas chase for the Premier League after forcing them to a 2-2 draw in a fiercely fought encounter at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium this evening.

The draw means Simba have dropped two crucial points in the race dominated by their rivals Young Africans commanding 55 points upfront. Despite the draw, Simba continue to claim the second place with 51 points.

Simba, who played their 20th game today, have dropped 9 points after one loss and three draws.

Azam looked determined to win the game right from the start and their determination earned them an opener 9 minutes after the start.
