ADDIS ABABA, Aug. 29 -- IN strengthening the African Unions efforts to advance the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda across the continent, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC), Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, held his first official meeting with the AU Special Envoy on Women, Peace, and Security, Ambassador Liberata Mulamula.
The main objective of the discussions was to deliberate on the implementation of the Special Envoys specific mandate, in line with the AUs strategic goals.
