ARUSHA, July 17 -- AFTER a one-year break, Arusha is proudly back in the spotlight with a dedicated amputee football team composed of young athletes with physical disabilities.
The Arusha Warriors are set to represent the region in the 2025 Azam Amputee Football Tournament, taking place from today July 17 to 19 at the Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) Complex in Dar es Salaam.
This years tournament, organised by the Tanzania Amputee Football Federation (TAFF), brings together eight teams from across the country including Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Songwe and Arusha.
It also serves as the selection platform for the national amputee football team.
