Dar es Salaam, April 14 -- SINGIDA: CITIZENS across the country have been urged to fully embrace the opportunities brought by the arrival of electricity, which is currently being implemented by the Rural Energy Agency (REA) in various rural areas.

The aim is to establish income-generating projects and promote economic empowerment.

The call was made by Rural Energy Board Chairperson, Ambassador Major General (Retired) Jacob Kingu, during a visit to Matumbo and Makuro villages in Singida District Council.

The visit, which included energy development partners and senior energy officials, provided an opportunity to inspect and evaluate the ongoing projects under REAs implementation.
