DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 1 -- MWANZA based Alliance Queens registered their second win of the season after defeating neighbours Marsh Queens 2-0 in the Women Premier League match at Nyamagana stadium on Wednesday.

Alliance goals were netted by Janeth Matulanga in the 78th minute and Aisha Juma in the 90th minute.

Speaking after the match, Alliance Coach Ezekiel Chobanka said his team played well to win the match and they deserved maximum points.

"Our opponents were too strong, but we played very well and dominated the match right from the first half," he said.

He said the league is difficult because each team is well prepared coupled with competitive and talented players.
