Dar es Salaam, March 20 -- DAR ES SALAAM: THE Association of Local Authorities of Tanzania (ALAT) chairman, Murshid Ngeze, has appealed to President Samia Suluhu Hassan to designate a week dedicated to local governments.

This week will provide an opportunity to showcase various activities carried out by these local authorities and highlight their achievements.

The event can be held annually, offering diverse economic prospects and strengthening local economies.
