MTWARA,, Sept. 24 --   Airtel Money Tanzania has entered into a strategic partnership with Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) to enable farmers, particularly in rural areas, to receive secure payments through mobile money.

The collaboration seeks to ease long-standing challenges faced by smallholder farmers, who often travel long distances to access financial services or handle large sums of cash. With the new system, payments will be made directly to farmers phones, ensuring convenience, security and transparency.
