TANGA, Jan. 27 -- THE Agricultural Inputs Trust Fund (AGITF) is committed to addressing the challenges facing farmers in accessing credit, a barrier that discourages them from continuing with farming, while also creating opportunities to provide loans.

Speaking today, January 27, at the climax of the Financial Services Week celebrations in Usagara, Tanga, AGITF Chief Accountant Donald Lugelela explained how the funds loans are affordable compared to conventional commercial loans.

Lugelela stated that the fund has become a solution for agricultural input capital, helping farmers access seeds, fertilizers, and tools at low cost.
