ZANZIBAR, Nov. 13 -- THE President of Zanzibar, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi, has announced that he will leave four out of 20 ministries he recently created for the ACT Wazalendo party if the party decides to join the Government of National Unity (GNU).

ACT Wazalendo has met the criteria to form a GNU in collaboration with the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and will now have the First Vice President along with four ministries, instead of the previous two ministries allocated to them.

The ministries designated for ACT- Wazalendo include the Office of the First Vice President, the Ministry of Trade and Industrial Development, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
