Dar es Salaam, April 10 -- KAMPALA: TANZANIA has called for joint efforts in a bid to curb numerous challenges facing the African continent, including climate change, corruption, and unemployment.

Addressing these issues requires strengthened regional cooperation to bring about positive change and reduce their impact.

This call was made today, April 10, 2025, by the Deputy Minister in the Presidents Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, Deus Sangu, during the 8th summit of retired leaders and experts from various countries around the world. The summit was held in Uganda and officially opened by the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni.
