Dar es Salaam, Feb. 24 -- ARUSHA: THE Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) has announced that more than 800 women are expected to visit various tourist attractions ahead of International Womens Day on March 8.
The visit aims to support and promote local tourism while raising awareness of conservation efforts.
Speaking at a press conference in Arusha over the weekend, NCAA Senior Assistant Conservation Commissioner for Tourism and Marketing, Ms Mariam Kobelo, said the tour will take place on March 7.
She explained that the initiative encourages women from Arusha and other regions to visit tourist attractions, supporting President Samia Suluhu Hassans efforts to promote domestic tourism.
