Dar es Salaam, Dec. 8 -- THE government has reiterated its plan to connect Regions, Districts and Villages with the National Fibre optic cable in order to   attain the goal of ensuring that 80 percent of Tanzanians have access to internet services come 2025.

The Minister for Information, Communications and Information Technology, Nape Nnauye said that the aim is to ensure that citizens benefit from growing digital financial services through electronic means, especially mobile phones.
