DODOMA, June 25 -- OVER 42 Tanzanians who had been stranded in Israel due to ongoing conflict in the region are expected to return home today aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight, the government has announced.
A statement issued on Wednesday by the Government Communication Unit said the returnees will arrive in two groups following logistical arrangements facilitated by Tanzanian authorities.
“The first group is scheduled to land at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Unguja at 12:55 PM, while the second will arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam at 5:55 PM,” the statement read.
