Dar es Salaam, May 9 -- DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister Mr Kassim Majaliwa on Wednesday said the National Clean Cooking Energy Strategy will cost a total of 4.6tri/- in ten years spanning from 2024 to 2034.

Under the strategy, Tanzania targets to ensure clean cooking energys use reach 80 per cent by 2034 from the current 10 per cent.

Speaking during the launch of the strategy in Dar es Salaam, Mr Majaliwa noted that the strategy acts as the framework for bolstering concerted efforts from all stakeholders including citizens, private sector and international development partners in realising the transition to clean cooking energy.
