Dar es Salaam, March 10 -- DAR ES SALAAM: MAYBELLINE New York has launched an initiative to provide professional makeup artistry training to 1,000 Tanzanian women over the next three months.

This programme, which coincides with Maybellines official entry into the Tanzanian market, aims to equip participants with the skills needed to pursue careers in the booming beauty industry, opening doors to both employment and entrepreneurship.

The initiative was launched in Dar es Salaam over the weekend with Maybellines Consumer Products Division General Manager, Victoria Karanja, who said the broader significance of the programme is to transform womens lives.
