DODOMA, June 28 -- PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced that her government has made substantial progress in strengthening the Union of Tanzania by resolving 15 critical issues that had posed challenges to the union.

This achievement, she said, has boosted public confidence in the Union that has remained very strong.

Speaking today, June 27, 2025, in Dodoma during the closing session of the 12th Parliament, President Samia said these successes resulted from the implementation of directives she issued in 2021. She emphasized the importance of addressing Union matters through dialogue and cooperation.
