Sri Lanka, July 21 -- Sri Lankan sprinter Yupun Abeykoon achieved a remarkable timing of 10.03 seconds and won the first place in men's 100m race at the Continental Tour Bronze Night Of Athletics held in Belgium on Saturday (19).

The wind speed at the time of the race was recorded at +4.7. This can be understood to have brought some comfort to Yupun's running. The time recorded by the athlete who came in second was 10.17 seconds.

This can be considered as the best running time recorded by Yupun in recent times. Even with the wind speed, it can be assumed that this running time will provide big boost for his upcoming events.
