Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- SLPP National Organizer MP Namal Rajapaksa said that some people who encouraged public protests later gained power, while a group of young people who joined the Aragalaya lost their lives.

He made these remarks while speaking to the media at the headquarters of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) on Nelum Mawatha.Sri Lanka travel

Rajapaksa alleged that certain groups used young people to achieve political goals. He claimed that those who gave advice, appeared in the media, and promised to protect the youth are now enjoying power, while the young people who took part in the struggle "went to the gallows."
