Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- Officers from the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) successfully intercepted a significant quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, commonly known as 'Ice,' during a targeted raid in the Grandpass area.

Acting on a precise tip-off, the CCD team raided a location on Mathurage Mawatha, where they discovered 510 grams and 440 milligrams of the synthetic drug in the suspect's possession.

The individual apprehended during the operation has been identified as a 31-year-old resident of Angoda.

He is currently in police custody as authorities work to trace the supply chain and potential distribution network.

The Colombo Crimes Division is spearheading further investigations into the case.
