Srilanka, April 8 -- The Sapugaskanda Yoshida Pre-school celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year of 2025 on April 05 at the school premises. The event was conducted under the leadership of the Most Venerable Banagala Upatissa Thera, Chief Prelate of Japan and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Mahabodhi Society, as well as the founder and chairman of the Yoshida Education and Cultural Foundation.

Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thera inaugurated the Yoshida Preschool forty-six years ago in 1979, supported by a generous donation from the Japanese philanthropist Takiko Yoshida.
