Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- The World Bank Group's International Development Association has approved a US$100 million loan to support Sri Lanka's Rural, Urban Integrated Development and Climate Resilience Project.

The agreement was officially signed between Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma, Secretary to the Ministry of Finance, and David Sislen, Country Director for Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Nepal of the World Bank Group.

The initiative aims to enhance the productivity, market access, and climate resilience of agri-food producers in selected regions of the country.
