Srilanka, May 6 -- World Bank President Ajay Banga is set to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (06), marking the first visit by a World Bank head to the country in nearly 20 years.

During his visit, Banga is expected to meet with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, and several senior officials from both the public and private sectors.

The World Bank Group is currently engaged in projects worth approximately $2.2 billion in Sri Lanka, focusing on both public and private sector development.
