Srilanka, Feb. 18 -- A two-day workshop aimed at training 150 selected members of the Tri-Forces and Sri Lanka Police to implement the "Clean Sri Lanka" program commenced today (February 18) at the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regimental Center in Panagoda.
During his welcome address, Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyakontha (Retd) highlighted the program's objectives, which include enhancing governance, social, environmental, and economic sustainability, and improving Sri Lanka's image through active involvement from local communities, public and private sectors, media, and international organizations.
