Srilanka, May 14 -- MP S. Sri Bavanandarajah reassured that the Government is working actively towards the complete release of civilian lands in Jaffna, stating that he is in continuous discussions with all relevant departments, including the Defence Ministry.
"We're doing our utmost to release more military-occupied land in Jaffna, so that it can be of use to people. We are in constant discussions with all departments concerned."
The announcement was made following the opening ceremony of a new educational building affiliated with the Myliddy Thiruppur Youth Welfare Union Social Welfare Centre, held on Myliddy Social Welfare Centre Road on Monday (12).
