Sri Lanka, Jan. 2 -- Minister of Women and Child Affairs Saroja Savitri Paulraj said the main goal of the ministry in 2026 is to promote physical, policy, and ethical development in the field of early childhood development by carrying forward the concept of "Let's start from the beginning."

The Minister made the remarks yesterday(01) while welcoming the New Year and marking the start of 2026.

She added that, as a government, by maintaining proper financial discipline, creating production and investment opportunities, the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs will work to improve Sri Lanka's social development indicators and advance its economic development.
