Sri Lanka, March 30 -- A thirty-five-year-old woman suspected to have been involved in a number of incidents, including the death of the Eheliyagoda OIC who committed suicide by shooting himself with his duty firearm last October has been arrested by the Kandy Police Divisional Crimes Investigation Unit.

Investigations have revealed that the last call received on the Eheliyagoda Police OIC's mobile phone was from the suspect woman's phone before he shot himself dead with his duty revolver on October 21 last year at his official residence.

It was also revealed that this woman used two mobile phones to send the letter demanding ransom and threatening death by transferring it from one phone to the other and then submitting
