Sri Lanka, Jan. 14 -- National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader Wimal Weerawansa who began a 'Satyagraha' with a group of civil society activists opposite the Education Ministry demanding the abolition of educational reforms related to Grade 6 and resignation of the Education Minister ended yesterday.

Weerawansa said that they decided to give up the 'Satyagraha' after the government postponed the implementation of the education reform until next year.

Addressing the media opposite the Education Ministry, he said the objectives of conducting the campaign was achieved.
