Srilanka, Feb. 27 -- Showers or thundershowers are expected at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and Uva provinces, as well as in the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, and Hambantota districts.

Other areas may experience showers or thundershowers during the afternoon or night.

Fairly heavy rainfall exceeding 75mm is likely in parts of the Eastern and Uva provinces, as well as in the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Polonnaruwa, Galle, Matara, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts.

Additionally, fairly strong winds ranging from 30-40 kmph are expected at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern, and North-Western provinces, along with the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, and Hambantota districts.
