Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- The newly appointed Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Sri Lanka, Philip Ward, along with Deputy Director Robert Oliver, met with the Secretary to the Prime Minister, Pradeep Saputhanthri, yesterday (27) at the Prime Minister's Office.

Operating in Sri Lanka since 1968, the WFP has been supporting the country in enhancing food and nutritional security, while building resilience among communities facing economic and climate-related challenges.
