Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- The case filed against drug kingpin Gampola Vidanage Samantha Kumara alias 'Wele Suda' who is currently serving a death sentence, for the alleged possession of firearms, was fixed for trial tomorrow (9) by the Colombo High Court.

The case was taken up before Colombo HC Judge Navaratne Marasinghe. The Attorney General had filed an indictment against 'Wele Suda' for possession of a T56 firearm and a revolver on or around April 24, 2006 in the Boralesgamuwa area. This case was filed under two charges related to committing a punishable offence under the Penal Code under the Gun Ordinance Act.
