Sri Lanka, Nov. 7 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has said that his country has a "special relationship" with India and that "has to be enhanced, has to be promoted and built upon".
The leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party, is on India visit, and earlier met with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and EAM Dr.S Jaishankar.
Speaking to WION's Sidhant Sibal, he pointed that "India has been the single largest donor to the tune of US$ 4.2 billion in providing support that has provided some relief (during the economic crisis) to the people of our country, so we are extremely grateful."
