Sri Lanka, Oct. 10 -- In parallel with the 76th Army Anniversary, a ceremony was held at the Battaramulla War Heroes' Monument (Ranaviru Smarakaya) to honour the supreme sacrifices of fallen War Heroes on Wednesday (8).

Army Commander Lt. Gen Lasantha Rodrigo was the Chief Guest.

The Army Commander together with Senior Officers paid floral tributes to the War Heroes' Monument in remembrance of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the peace and sovereignty of the motherland.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Army participated in this commemoration.
