Sri Lanka, Nov. 19 -- Walkers Colombo Shipyard whose fixed assets were taken over by a local bank a few months ago, are continuing their operations at a hectic pace. They have completed repairs to three fishing vessels within a period of five weeks and have also taken lesser time to perform almost the same quantum of work on each occasion.

On September 30, the 28.8 meter fishing craft 'HIRU 6' owned and operated by Horizon Harvest Pvt. Ltd., was docked at the Walkers Colombo Shipyard in order to have her hull hard scraped, power buffered and painted.

The repairs were completed within two weeks and the vessel was un-docked on the October 13.
